Sorry it’s been so long, update

Ok, over the past month I’ve gotten a bunch of people to start collecting pop tabs so that rules, but I’ve still yet to get the ball rolling on fundraiser events.  I’m sending out a message on myspace to a bunch of bands around the area and hopefully I’ll get some feedback about who would want to do a show and when it could go down.  I’ll keep you posted for sure.

Rady Children’s Hospital Benefit Show

Hey guys!!!!!

 Since I’m not familiar with too many artists around here yet, I think our first project is going to be putting on a benefit show for The Rady Children’s Hospital. I’ll post more info on this as it comes together,  but if your band would be interested in playing PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Also, let me know if you have any venue suggestions or would like to make a flier once it’s set up!!

FIRST POST!

There are two things I have never done before; start a non profit and manage a decent blog.  I’ll try to keep this site as clean and easy to follow as possible…

Right now I’m setting up the Links section to support any similar organizations in the SD area as well as participating bands/bars/artists/etc.  I’m making a separate page to post fliers for events going on around the city and maybe some sort of calendar.  Hit me up (Operashtonivey@gmail.com)  if there is anything in particular you want to see!  Hopefully this will help get the word out and catch some more people’s attention…
